Earlier today I was dry cutting 1095, .5" axial, .1" radial, 400 sfm with shrink fit holders (Lakeshore Carbide 3/4" NaCo end mill) and it runs fine. I can look up the feed per tooth I was using if you want. Shrink fit should, in theory, have fine tool holding, but that is, also same theory, dependent on end mill concentricity (h5 iirc).
